Episode notes

There was a headline in the New York Times on the 7th of March 2022 which read “The Nun Reshaping the Role of Women Inside the Vatican”. The article was about Sr Natalie Becquart, the first woman in history to have the right to vote in the Catholic synod. She’s the undersecretary of the synod of bishops in Rome, appointed by Pope Francis, and she was in Adelaide recently for only one day to give a lecture on “Synodality as Mission” as part of a whirlwind Australian tour.
