014 The Real Impact of Illness on Business Owners with Bryony Thomas
Today's episode follows a scare with COVID and it truly made me think about the impact of illness on business owners. I couldn't think of anyone better to discuss this with than my friend, Bryony Thomas.
Bryony was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has been receiving treatment during the pandemic. We get serious on the REAL impact of illness on business owners from talking about finding out you are sick, sharing the news with your family, worrying about the impact it might have on your business and importantly do you have the right insurance in case of serious illness!
It might be a tough conversation but this is one you HAVE to listen to to protect yourself in case of illness.
CORRECTION...For every 9 breast cancer deaths, 28 survive, for every 9 pancreatic cancer deaths, 1 survive. In the interview, Bry got the stats slightly wrong.
