Multiple things can be true. If you talked to people who have known me through the years, I’ve had brunette, blonde, red, dishwater blonde, curly, straight, long, and short hair. I’ve been a smoker, non-smoker, drinker, non-drinker, taken pills, not taken pills. Been a HS diploma- minimum wage earner, a college graduate/professional. She could be all the things different people remember about her. May she rest in peace.

Interesting at first but then I wondered why we should care about this story. Investigators ignored professionals who told them the woman’s stories were bogus, but the investigation continued. Was reminded of a lovely friend of my mom, years ago, who made up stories, similar to the character in this podcast. We knew this friend told wild lies, listened politely, and cared not about her lies; she was a kind person who harmed no one in any way. Apparently these investigators are unfamiliar with folks like my mom’s friend.

I thought this was a very interesting and different then other podcast. They deep dived into trying to learn the truth of who someone was during their lifetime and the many perspectives that go along with it. But also done in a heartfelt respectful way.

As others have said, it seemed very interesting for the first few episodes, but boy did it drag. The investigators were very thorough and did a great job investigating, the problem is there was nothing really worth investigating. I’m glad that the family connections happened though. That part was pretty cool.

Repetitive after the first two episodes. Found myself picking up my phone to see what’s new.

Too much music, right from the beginning, clinging on in the background well past the natural point. Amateurish and unlistenable. Please get some production training before you make your next podcast.

Strong start but after three episodes I could not continue listening to empty speculation and thin conspiracy theories. The reliance on sound design and music does not compensate for the lack of substance even at the hands of talented investigators. Don’t waste your time.

Compelling early on, but I lost interest and stopped listening by episode nine.

I was really compelled by this early on and the format. It opens with the host saying she won’t be in the podcast and that it will be told by the ones who experienced it but that’s not really the case. There’s a lot of discussions from the researches and host. It’s all about their opinions on the info they are receiving. That’s cool but not what you think this is gonna be. It was pretty clear it was a suicide and a bunch of small town gossip. Which a compelling podcast does not make.
