Episode notes

Matt hangs out with Hunter Leemon, the executive director of Sportable, a nonprofit adaptive athletics club in Richmond, Virginia. Hunter has a deep passion for creating competitive opportunities for folks with physical disabilities and he discusses how he found himself in a position to further the athletic and recreational programs offered to the adaptive community. He's an energetic guy with a genuine determination to bring the Sportable mission off the court as well. He talks about their educational outreach program, where Sportable athletes are introduced to area students to give lessons on disability awareness, person-first communication, and they also show off their athletic skill.
