Episode notes

Greg Roedersheimer talks to Matt about the various jobs he’s had in the gig economy throughout the years, from guitar teacher to dressing up as a Disney character for kids’ birthday parties. But his main profession is being a data research and reporting guy in the healthcare field, and he really enjoys it. So he’s building a business centered around data management and analytics. When he’s not crunching numbers or turning data into visuals that the layman can understand, Greg runs marathons, records music, and hosts a podcast about personal finance, health, travel, and household DIY projects. Check out his podcast, Suburban Folk, wherever you get your podcasts or at suburbanfolk.com.
If you need data consulting, be sure to check out his business Roedy Consulting as well.

Shure SM7B microphone

Cloudlifter CL-1

Recently, I bought a little mirrorless camera, Canon M50. If anyone has any tips for getting the most out of this little guy, let me know.

I also picked up a Rode on-camera mic which I’ve been impressed with.

Looking to add some lights, maybe a ring light like this one for stationary vlogging.
