The Preview Show: Northampton Town v Carlisle United

The Cobblers take on a Carlisle United side who have seemingly sneaked into the play off spots, with no one outside of Cumbria really talking about them as a promotion contender.

Paul Simpson has done a really good job since he returned to Brunton Park. His side have amassed 33 points from 20 games so far.

The Cobblers are 6 points and 3 places ahead of the Cumbrians in League Two and have had an extra week off after the Harrogate game succumbed to a frozen pitch and dangerous egress.

It will be interesting to see how this one goes as both sides are in similar form with 2 wins and 3 draws each in the last 5 games.It probably wouldn't be too much of a stretch to believe that a draw will be most like, if the game goes ahead.
