Episode notes

It's the morning after the night before where we won an award!

Welcome to Club Podcast of the Year, It's All Cobblers To Me! Don't worry, we don't go on about it too much on this episode. Only kidding, of course we do!

Hear how it all went down in London Town on Monday night and just how tightly he held onto the award all the way home on the train.

Northampton Town 1-0 Leyton Orient

The Cobblers saw off Kenny Jackett's Orient despite being without John Guthrie, Sean McWilliams and a first half injury to Kion Etete.

Max Dyche made his full League debut at the heart of the Cobblers defence and showed some great touches and composure. While at the other end, Sam Hoskins stole in to score what turned out to be the winner.

Around NTFC

A whopping 97.67% of the votes cast in the football club's recent poll around their plans for the East Stand were in favour of the plans. A total of 2442 votes were cast.

The Women's FA Cup game at Lye Town was postponed until 5th December with the home side's pitch being frozen and therefore unplayable. NTFC's offer to play the fixture in Northampton was declined and so the two sides will have to wait a week to find out who makes it through the the 3rd round.

Also this weekend, the Under 18's will face Charlton Athletic at Sixfields in the 3rd round of the FA Youth Cup. The match kicks off at 1:30pm and it would be great to see a bumper crowd down at Sixfields to cheer on the future Cobblers stars.
