Episode notes

Roses are fabulous cutting flowers and a favourite of all. What is your favourite for your cutting patch?

Roz Chandler started her flower farming business ten years ago. This podcast is for you if you want to learn more about growing your own cut flowers. Roz will cover various subjects including setting a patch, your soil, manure and compost, seeds and germination, perennials and biannuals, foliage, and so much more.

Often cited as the UK's most loved garden flower, we have a rose for every occasion; climbers, bushes, and even standards. There is no better bloom than a David Austin traditional rose for scent and cutting.

In this episode, Roz discusses her favourite blooms. Dame Judi Dench, Queen of Sweden and Gertrude and Jekyll are a few that made the cut.
