For this episode, gal-dem are joined by comedian and writer Sophie Duker as she discusses grief, escapism and teenage escapades. During a difficult period of her life, Sophie describes the comfort she found in trivial dramas during her teenage years. She was soon met with the stark reality of growing up after the passing of a close relative, causing her to realise the sacrifices her family had made for her happiness and to enable her to feel carefree.
