Former Singapore international, Itimi Dickson, joined Inside the Beautiful Game to talk about a career that began in Nigeria and found a new home in the Lion City.
Itimi joined Inside here in his adopted home of Singapore to talk about a journey that took him from Delta State in Nigeria to the Singapore national team where he won two AFF titles. While his story had a happy ending, Itimi’s path was far from simple, battling homesickness, loneliness, abuse – both physical and racial – suspension, provocation and more before gaining acceptance.
