He played in a band and had already worked at studios since the young age of 14!! He then moved to LA in hopes to become the protegé of a famous producer.
He SNUCK in to Hollywood parties handing out drum samples that he recorded which ended up on a ton of big records for artists like Santana, Kelly Clarkson, and Nickelback.🙌🙌🙌
This inspired Steven to pivot and start his audio companies that sell samples and software. Now Slate Audio and Slate Digital are extremely successful, rivaling major companies like UAD and Waves.
His passion to deliver happiness through sound and equipment to the music community is extremely contagious.
