Nintendo Switch Pro, Microsoft Hack, Warp Drive & Dr Who Audio

Episode notes

Well, it's a bad week for Microsoft based businesses. Hackers have breached more than 30 000 businesses and it'll take a lot of fingers and toes to count up all the damage they've done. Luckily, we have a new Switch model to look forward to. The leak shows a model with an OLED screen. But will they finally fix the joycons? Ensign, Warp speed 10. We'll have to give him a few years for the drive to be finished, but a new model for an Alcubierre drive seems very promising. And once warp speed is possible, we can go anywhere. Maybe even far enough out to catch the traces of the original broadcast of the lost Doctor Who episodes. Yeah, that one's probably a stretch. Christopher Eccleston has finally chosen to return to Doctor Who, in a series of Big Finish audio dramas. The series shows all the signs of being a quality Big Finish production, including some great returning cast members. This week, DJ dove into some video game history with a documentary about Jack Thompson, and Professor booted up the retro OS themed Kingsway. It was praised for its smaller size, its on-screen visual improvements, and its lack of an external power supply, but its regressions such as the lack of a native Kinect port were noted.) - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_One#Xbox_One_S Apex Legends launches on Nintendo Switch - https://dotesports.com/apex-legends/news/apex-legends-launches-on-nintendo-switch Punk Kitty Ransom - Analysing HelloKitty Ransomware Attacks - https://www.cadosecurity.com/post/punk-kitty-ransom-analysing-hellokitty-ransomware-attacks Alcubierre drive (a speculative warp drive idea based on a solution of Einstein's field equations in general relativity as proposed by Mexican theoretical physicist Miguel Alcubierre during his PhD study at the University of Wales, Cardiff, by which a spacecraft could achieve apparent faster-than-light travel if a configurable energy-density field lower than that of the vacuum (that is, negative mass) could be created.) - https://en.wikipedia...
