Fans Feedback:

  1. Icon – I’d say it was a blessing in disguise. We need high-octane League performances if we are to get back into play-off contention, and the FA Cup is a distraction for us this season.
  2. Mark Webster – The lack of creativity is ridiculous now. When you’re given the run around by a bunch of kids (albeit very good) it says it all. Tilt MOM but even he made a few mistakes, his pace bailed him out. Howard looks nervous. Their striker who scored the first bullied heneghan all game. Didn’t deserve anything from it but it’s becoming more and more apparent that the football isn’t up to scratch. 10 days of training and they looked like they didn’t have a clue
  3. Rob Walker – Still seething from Tuesday’s game. After two dire home performances I was expecting a resurgent Pool following a ten day rest. What we got was the same old Slow, ponderous, boring, predictable football. Players look unfit. Lost majority of second balls. No plan B. Rigid defensive formation from Grayson which was affectively a free hit against a Reading Reserve side. Once they scored their second goal I turned to my mate and said “watch this he’ll bring Nuttall on now”. Unbelievable. Grayson Out!
  4. Peter Simpson – Henegan the only player deserving a mention – rest were absolutely shocking! Groundsman deserves a mention for turning out such a good pitch under the weather circumstances. Wish I hadn’t gone.

Worst ever XI
