In March of 1967, an express train left Kings Cross for an overnight trip to Edinburgh. 
An hour later 4 carriages of the train would be scattered over the East Coast Main Line and 5 of her passengers would have lost their lives.

When investigators found the cause, well, let's just say it was truly shocking. A betrayal of the railway's safety culture in an ultimate way.
