This is part two of our chat with Steve Wright, the Data Protection Officer at the Bank of England.

Steve Wright has worked in the field of information security for 25 years. He has worked for some of the biggest brand names in the world including Siemens, Unilever and Deloitte. He has worked for John Lewis and Partners since April 2016 and is a prominent name in his field, often sharing his insights as a guest speaker at conferences held throughout Europe.

In this episode of People of Tech we’re focussing on what it’s like to work as a data protection and security officer. Steve discusses how he got to his role and the changes he has seen happen as well as his thoughts on the challenges ahead and how he removes himself from work at the end of the day.
