ChatGPT Special
Hi Listeners of Illusion,
Due to various complications the edit for Episode 3 isn't complete yet, so we're having to postpone it a bit longer. In the meantime we'd like to present you with this special episode we recently recorded.
A while ago I thought it would be funny to as ChatGPT to write an episode of Temporal Discussion. This was the anarchic result. Originally this was just for my own amusement, but after discussing it with Kim and Martin O we decided to record and release the episode.
We're also running a small competition. The first person to message us (either by email, on Patreon, or on any of our socials) and correctly guess at least two of the prompts I put into ChatGPT for the episode wins a T-shirt. Obviously we're excluding the prompt "write an episode of Temporal Discussion" :). As Patreon supporters you all have a week's head-start on everybody else, so get guessing!
Dungeoneer Patrons and above will be getting a Dungeon Unlocked version of the episode as an added bonus, which features the full unedited audio. Keepers of the Book of Quests will also be getting a video version. We strongly suggest listening to the edited version first.

Christmas Special 2023: The Dunshelm Players in Sidriss the Confused and the Philosopher's Sojourn
NOTICE: This is a work of parody, and does not reflect any kind of endorsement of JKR or her personal views. Trans rights are human rights.
Original release date: November 2011
Suffering from the stresses of the excessive workload that goes with being an editor, Sidriss the Confused decides she needs a holiday. But the job of editing her father’s latest novel cannot be left on hold, so before she can go, she has to find someone to fill in for her. As there are five candidates to choose from, Sidriss decides that she had best interview all of them.
Originally meant as the 2010 festive offering from the Players, but lengthily delayed due to ongoing technical problems, Sojourn is the fourth instalment of the sketch-series in the world of Harry Potter authorship. The Collins siblings return as Confuser and Confused, but the latest of Sidriss’ adventures sees other characters entering proceedings, including Dunshelm Players’ debuts for Mildread the Witch, Motley the Jester, Gretel the Dungeon Maid, and Ridolfo the Troubadour.

Today's episode is very much a game of two halves. We go from quite possibly one of the most entertainingly bad teams of series 4 to one of the greatest quests of the entire show! Along the way we talk about the Mandela effect in relation to a certain moment with a certain Dungeoneer, Martin H is tickled by the idea of Pickle's parrot, and we experience some pretty severe Déjà vu thanks to some Door Monster questions.

Knightmare Memories - Listener's Choice Award
Hi Listeners of Illusion!
Martin Odoni was sadly suffering from Covid when it came time to record this episode, so I'm afraid you'll have to put up with Martin Harder on his own.
We had so many great submissions to our competition that we decided to give out a secondary prize - our very own Listeners' Choice Award.
Presented here in this podcast are the seven entries we have chosen to be eligible for the main prize. We'll be starting a poll where you will have the chance to vote for your favourite memories. the winner of this poll will receive a separate prize of either a t-shirt or mug with their choice of design from our Redbubble store. This prize is completely separate from the main prize shown in the main competition post, and the poll will have no influence on the main competition (which is essentially a prize draw, where a winner will be chosen at random).
We're not analysing the entries here or giving much feedback or opinions, as we'll be doing so on a future podcast when Mr. Odoni is able to join in.We hope you enjoy listening to these entries as much as we did. Please remember that it's okay to disagree with the opinions of others, as long as everybody remains civil :)
Vote for your favourite in our poll here

Our extended break has now come to an end, and we're returning with what is possibly the best episode of series 4 so far, not least because of the introduction of two interesting new obstacles for the team. Mid-Season Special - Knightmare Audio Series - S01E14
We're taking a break for a few weeks whilst I complete my diploma. Whilst we're away we're proud to be able to bring you episodes of the Knightmare Audio Series!
The KAS, rather like the Dunshelm Players, are a group of talented amateur voice actors who put on plays based on The Greater Game. Unlike the Dunshelm Players though, KAS plays are more like an extension to the original TV series. They present new quests, with new teams of contestants tackling a new version of the Dungeon of Deceit.

Jake Collins as Treguard, Gumboil, Hordriss and Merlin
Rosey Collins as Jenny and Morghanna
Gemma Dwarwood as Natalie
Roy Jackson as Henry
