Episode notes

This week we celebrate the ONE YEAR anniversary of The Boys in the Band Podcast with a fantastic chat with Adam Ficek from Babyshambles.

The band had already had a top 10 hit and were just about to lay down their debut album when he got invited to become their drummer - and he seized the opportunity.

Adam tells us about that decision, the whirlwind he'd stepped into - and what it was like being in one of the most prominent, talked about bands of the era.

From writing, recording, and touring with Pete Doherty, to seeing his good mate Pat Walden leave the band in the same year Babyshambles signed a big deal with a record label, Adam recounts the highs and lows.

Plus, Adam shares some Babyshambles news - and why we could be seeing the band on stage again in the not too distant future...
