One of the biggest hurdles in my podcast business is the number of listeners I have. I have heard that in order to grow your show, you have to engage with people who are in your target audience online, go where they are so that you can direct them to your podcast. So I believe I have found them on Twitter however I don't know how to engage with them particularly via the dms and be able to direct them to the podcast. I'm pretty clueless... When I created the picture of what I want my business to look like in the future, in the form of a synergy map, I had courses on there as part of the business. Courses are the natural progression for me as an educational content creator and they are a great monetization tool for your business. Okay picture this, it's 1956, Walt Disney is sitting at the dinner table, he takes out a napkin and starts drawing some weird thing. He calls it a synergy map and it's basically the strategy of Disney outlined, basically he wanted Disney to expand beyond film and create multiple streams of revenue which are interrelated with each other and support each other.

I mean it sounds a bit complicated and perhaps I'm not doing justice to it by explaining it but in this episode I clearly explain it (I think) but not only that, but get this we can create our own versions of a synergy map as podcast entrepreneurs; basically build a business around our podcast with multiple streams of income.
