How to excel at the England and Wales and California Bar and become a leading barrister

Listen on

Episode notes

In this episode, Stephanie Anais speaks to Josh Lewison, barrister at Radcliffe Chambers with an onshore and offshore practice who is also admitted to the state bar of California.

Josh provides his advice on how to succeed during pupillage and when starting out at the Bar, talks about some of his most interesting cases and reveals what it’s like to be an offshore barrister (it’s not all about money laundering and tax avoidance schemes!).

Josh also shares his experience taking the California Bar, provides his top tips on passing the exam, and how a dual qualification can positively impact a lawyer’s professional and personal development.
