In the second part of a three part mini-series, Camilla Uppal speaks with Megan Hulme, trainee solicitor at a top-40 law firm and founder of It’s All Hearsay, all about her experiences working as a paralegal before starting her training contract.

In this episode, Megan provides an insight into her journey and experience securing paralegal roles after leaving university. We discuss the competitive nature of the entry-level legal job market and how candidates can stand out in the application process.

Megan provides specific advice in relation to legal CVs, paralegal interviews, and the common issues that Megan has noticed when helping her mentees to secure their first legal roles.

Megan also provides her opinion on how the LPC helped her to progress her legal career, which may be of help to those currently wondering whether or not to undertake the LPC.
