Since Watford was taken over by Gino Pozzo, the club has enjoyed an exciting time of it, with supporters treated tona host of new players, some of which are still entertaining us now, some who made only fleeting appearances and others that we’d possibly rather forget altogether. 

In this, the latest From the Rookery End, supported by The Athletic, two teams do battle to come up with the ultimate Pozzo-era XI. Who wins? You decide!

The Rules:

Each team will pick a starting XI of Watford players who have played for the club since the Pozzo took over the club in 2012 and you can play any formation you like.

• You can ONLY pick 1 category 1 player in each position - goalkeeper, defender, midfield and forward
• You MUST pick at least 1 Academy graduate
• You MUST pick at least 1 loanee - who never became a permanent signing.
• You MUST pick 2 players who only played in the Championship seasons.
• Players can only be picked once - no duplicates.
