150. Could Meat Raised Right Be Healthy for Us and the Planet? Karli Amonite from Heritage Hills Farmstead Tells Us What to Look For
Episode notes
When Karli Amonite couldn’t get the food she needed to heal from a chronic illness, she and her husband dug in, and started farming to have more control over what they – and their community – ate. Even if we’re unable to do the same, it’s incredibly useful to know what can change a food from being healthy to less so (SPOILER ALERT: it could be the soy, corn, grains, GMOs…) Join us for the information that can impact our own plate, our own health and our one planet. Karli brings a level of joy to the conversation about food that’s too often missing!
