Episode notes

British bonanza! We’re all back at Tennis Weekly HQ to look back on the last week on tour, which saw Jack Draper winning the biggest title of his career in Vienna and rising to a career high ranking of 15. Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard also made it a good week for this season’s breakthrough acts, winning Basel to capture his second title of the season too.

Meanwhile, Qinwen Zheng continued her stellar season with more silverware in Tokyo and Olga Danilovic took home the Guangzhou trophy, six years after her maiden tour title.

The trio are also joined by coach Patrick Mouratoglou to talk Ultimate Tennis Showdown Grand Finals as well as discuss the recent news of Maria Sharapova’s induction into the Tennis Hall of Fame and whether this is justified in light of her doping ban, and they reflect on the permanent addition of on court coaching to the ATP and WTA Tours as of January next year.
