" I want to produce a show and I'd like to use your theatre for free." These bold and tenacious words were from a 12 year old called Dean Johnson. It was a staging post in his love of telling stories and finding innovative and eye catching ways to do that. He's now a hugely well respected and successful director of musical theatre and film. 

Spend some time with Dean as he sets out the characteristics, motivations and qualities that are necessary for this fascinating and hugely creative role.
