It was a pleasure to sit with Erin and her emotional support bisexual, Jess, to chat about Erin’s coming into her asexuality. Erin chatted about how the isolation of the pandemic and the “youths of the internet” made it more accessible for her to come to a better understanding and pride in being ace.

This chat was full of pure joy and power from Erin (and I, Lauren, use those exact words many times). There is something just so magical hearing someone so fucking in their element and this episode is just that.

Erin spreads beautiful ace awareness, gives us some ace representation that we acknowledge is so lacking in the media (shout out Todd Chavez), and normalizes asexuality, while educating us that it is not what everyone assumes it is, it is not one thing, and it is magical.
