In this episode, we speak to Premiership rugby’s record appearance holder and six-time league champion, Richard Wigglesworth. Not only is he an outstanding rugby player, he also works with Active Digital as one of our company ambassadors, alongside Steve Backley OBE. After making his professional debut for Sale Sharks in 2002, he went on to play for Saracens before recently moving to Leicester Tigers during the close season in 2020. By the end of 2019/20, he stood on 288 games, winning six league titles and a European Cup, plus 33 caps for England including selection for back to back Rugby World Cup campaigns in 2011 and 2015. An impressive sporting CV! We talk to Richard about his family, his long standing passion for rugby and how we can all learn to adapt to enjoy a good level of fitness at every age.
