Episode notes

The Coronavirus pandemic has caused the cancellation of French football across the country.

On Episode 13 of 24th & Parc, Eduardo Razo and Jon Olangi discuss the decision made by the French Football Federation to cancel the Ligue 1 season, which has resulted in Paris Saint-Germain winning their ninth league title.

We also examine the final table and the ramifications that ending the season early will have on certain clubs who will miss out on European qualification and be forced into relegation.

Football in France isn't the only thing being canceled. With the lack of games to show on television, contracts are being ripped up by broadcasters and we pinpoint the financial impact the loss in revenue will have around the country.

Finally, the show concludes with a conversation about the latest transfer rumors, which includes the possibility of both Edinson Cavani and Thiago Silva extending their contracts.
