On Sunday, Vincent Kompany's Clarets had double the shots, thrice the possession, and average positions which mimic our recent loss to Manchester City. Difference is, Burnley are NOT Manchester City, and all it took was Andoni's side to wait, watch, and then strike at the right time, and we did so - twice.

With the Lancashire side sleep-walking to relegation, we take a look at the tactical battle that Iraola deployed at Turf Moor, and acknowledge that, whilst it wasn't brilliant to watch, he probably got the performance spot on.

Sometimes in football you live for the result and sometimes you live to enjoy the moment. This season on the whole it has been the latter. Last season it was very much the former, and whilst we wouldn't want to endure a whole season of that, this weekend's game perhaps shows that sometimes the chaos has to be put to one side in order to get results. As game-plans go, it worked to a tee.
