Episode notes

In this episode award-winning journalist Georgie Frost talks to the BBC's Head of Early Careers and Staff Apprenticeships Sarah Moors, to find out why apprenticeships are so important to the future of the broadcaster, why it is committed to taking on 1000 new apprentices by 2026 and why apprenticeships are the perfect way for the BBC to meet its ambitious diversity targets.

Georgie also speaks to Louise Brown, who heads up the BBC's new Apprentice Hub, launched recently in the West Midlands, and talks career paths, career changes and opportunities with one current apprentice Zach Charles (Broadcast Engineer apprentice), as well as former apprentices Annie Chisambo (former Production apprentice) and Beth Dinnall (former Chartered Management Degree apprentice).
