Joanie Evans is the Co-President of the Federation of Gay Games. Originally from Birmingham, Joanie moved to London in the late 1980s, joining Hackney Women’s Football Club - the first out LGBTQ+ team in Europe. In 2019, Joanie was nominated for Outstanding Contribution to LGBT+ Life at the British LGBT Awards and won an Administration Award from the Football Black List.
