Episode notes

Nelly Rodrigues is a filmmaker, producer, editor, and director. Through their work as a university lecturer at BIMM, and one of the co-founders of the Trans Creative Collective, Nelly’s mission is to amplify the voices and stories of trans and gender non-conforming people. We spoke about: Nelly’s teaching, their creative career so far, and how their work has evolved through writing short stories, working on events, to creating short films. Nelly has worked for the likes of ITV and Abbey Road studios, and their mission for telling impactful stories and using storytelling to create change is always at the heart of their work. — artists in residence is hosted by Isabelle Wilkinson, a writer, creative producer, and interviewer from East Yorkshire.
