Episode notes
Welcome to Booky! The friendly, snob-free podcast for readers and for writers. Join journalist, writer and presenter Nicola Adam who will be asking authors from across the genre and geographical divides to share their ups and downs on their journey to publication. Plus a few tips for budding authors along the way. At the end of each podcast Nicola will share the latest news and opportunities for writers and book lovers.
Nicola's guest on this episode is Danielle Owen-Jones. She’s the author of two romantic comedies set up North: Stone Broke Heiress and Stuck With Him. Danielle is published by Bookouture (an imprint of Hachette UK) and is signed with Janklow & Nesbitt – one of the world’s leading literary agencies, and she’s currently writing her next book. Danielle worked in journalism and PR before launching a freelance content writing business. Originally from Southport, she now lives in Kirkby Lonsdale, Cumbria, with her husband and mischievous cockapoo Poppy who likes to distract her while she's trying to write.
