Brand Your Brain

How The $10K Client Mindset is Affecting Some Designers

Listen on

Episode notes

Today I'm chatting about the reality of booking high ticket clients and why it may not be the best path for every designer. I share my personal experiences with high ticket projects, and how I quickly learned that it was no longer a goal I wanted to reach.

THE CONFESSION:

"I really hate the “you have to book $10k+ clients” mindset. I DO think that designers need to charge their worth and that we need to elevate our industry, but it’s not always all about the money. Some of us are quite happy sitting in a middle tier if it means less anxiety and better work life balance. It’s not all about the dollar amount. And TBH really high ticket projects can be stressful AF." - ANONYMOUS LISTENER
