So many times in the past, I have been in the head-down zone, hyper-focused on my goals, working many nights and weekends, for weeks and months at a time, not paying attention to my body's fuel gauge. Then, I’d find myself totally depleted, and it would take weeks, months, or even years to replenish. In this episode, I want to help you understand the importance of filling up your energy tank before you hit burnout.

In order to avoid feeling depleted and burned-out, you need to create some white space in your schedule, otherwise you're just continuing to loop around a racetrack. You have to make a commitment to yourself, start saying no to some things and saying yes to self-care. Although it’s not easy to just flip that switch, know that you are not alone and there is help and support available to you.
