This week (on September 7th), I turn 47 years young/old! Years ago, I came across a little 3”x5” notebook with a panda bear on the cover that had my Mom’s handwritten notes inside about the day I was born.

I haven’t read this in many years, so it’s almost as if I’m reading it for the first time with you today, and you get to hear my reactions as I go.

- Who delivered me into this world (It’s hilarious!! It could be straight out of a Marvel comic book!)

- How she felt throughout the experience and her interactions with my Dad and the nurses

- How my parents chose my name “Charis”

 

This notebook is a sweet gift from my Mom. She passed away in 2013, and I’m so grateful I found this story of my birthday.
