Listen on

Episode notes

Today, I’m joined by David Dodson, and we're talking about What your MBA didn’t Teach you about Leadership. David is an award-winning faculty member of Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, where he guides students in tactical execution. His success in the classroom follows years of experience as a practitioner. He started at McKinsey & Company as a consultant and became a serial entrepreneur, operating six companies as CEO or Executive Chairman. He has since served as a board member of more than 40 public and private companies and has been an active investor in over 150 businesses. He is the author of a new book called The Manager’s Handbook: Five Simple Steps to Build a Team, Stay Focused, Make Better Decisions, and Crush Your Competition. In this book, David shows readers how to master the essential skills necessary to run an effective organization. I’m excited to have him on the show to learn What your MBA didn’t Teach you about Leadership.
