The Sustainable Coffee Revolution in Colombia

Listen on

Episode notes

This episode is all about coffee, sustainability and innovation in Colombia!

I had the pleasure of interviewing Cole Shephard, the founder of The Green Coffee Company, the largest coffee production company in Colombia with a focus on sustainable coffee production.

We had a fascinating conversation about Colombia's coffee production, innovation, and sustainability, and compared it to Brazil's coffee production. Cole shared his insights on the differences between the two countries' coffee production models, the history of coffee production in Colombia, and the business models of the coffee industry in both countries.

But that's not all - we also discussed how The Green Coffee Company is leading the way in sustainable coffee production. Cole explained their focus on sustainability, which includes prioritizing human capital and circular economy. It was inspiring to learn how they're making a positive impact on the environment and the community through their practices.
