Episode notes

On today's episode of Wrap-Up, the big day has finally arrived - it's time for the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

We'll bring you a preview of all the runners and riders ahead of tonight's show, and we'll let you know what we've seen so far in the first public rehearsals for this year's contest. From the press centre in Malmö, Ben Robertson from ESC Insight joins us to discuss his thoughts on what might happen tonight as well.

And we're also talking to the artists about to take to the stage. Teya Dora from Serbia talks about the meaning behind her entry "Ramonda", Hera Björk tells us what it's like to come back to Eurovision for the second time, and Marcus & Martinus update us on how their preparations to perform "Unforgettable" are going.

There's all that as well as all the latest news from the contest, including the running order draw for the Big 5 and which celebrities and Eurovision legends will be our spokespersons this year. Hear it all on Wrap-Up - the daily news show from the Eurovoix Podcast.
