Football Editor Matt Ketchell and Club Historian Paul Joannou reach the penultimate episode of their 30 chapters chronicling the 140-year history of Newcastle United.

This episode focuses on the Rafa Benitez years: 2016 to 2019 and joining as special guest is former Newcastle United Editor at ChronicleLive, Mark Douglas. Mark is now Northern Football Correspondent at The i Paper, but covered NUFC specifically for 14 seasons from 2007.

In 2017 he wrote the book: 'Inside The Rafalution' about Rafa's first year at Newcastle United.

For this episode the trio discuss the politics and philosophies of Rafa, how he stamped his authority on the club and the infamous fall-out with Mike Ashley.
