Energy Voice – Out Loud
Net Zero Nudge 4: vehicle electrification
Episode notes
Decarbonisation requires a shift away from liquid fuels, but is the infrastructure in place to support the number of EVs that we will need?
It’s essential that the shift to EVs is painless, otherwise those making the move will head back to the more familiar diesel and petrol options. The government has set a major target, of 300,000 charging points by 2030, but as yet there seems little chance that it will achieve this.
Maria Bengtsson, partner at EY, Neil Isaacson, CEO of Liberty Charge and Peter Domeney, COO of Tevva come together to talk over all things EV and how to ramp up progress and iron out the wrinkles.
