Alexander Rosenberg; Glass Studio Director at Wheaton Arts and 3rd finalist in S1 of Blown Away, is the guest this week and he & Mike delve deep into the world of glass-blowing; what it is, how glass is made, why people do it by hand, Alexander’s specialities and so much more!

Mike & Alex’s discussion begins with Alex explaining who he is and why he finds glass so fascinating, including where natural glass occurs, how sand is turned into glass & it’s reusability. Alex then explains what he makes in his glass studio, techniques used for glassblowing, the connection to the past when glassblowing. They also discuss Alex’s introspection when glassblowing, transferrable skills from glassblowing, the history of glass, talent and so much more!
