This week Mike’s chat with Beth Crane continues; where they talk about the incredible sci-fi audio drama We Fix Space Junk as Beth is the co-creator, writer and voice of Kilner (Hedley Knights, the other co-creator & sound engineer is also present but this chat primarily focuses on Beth).

This week is part 2 of their chat and it starts with Beth talking about the future of WFSJ potentially delving into other mediums, the other podcast Beth is working on, the importance of not undervaluing your impact on other people, the unexpected costs of podcasting, some future WFSJ products (including a potential board game), why collaboration is essential for podcasters, how being positive can have incredible ripple effects on others you interact with, the lore/universe of WFSJ, Beth’s favourite author and so much more!

In part 1 of their chat, a great many things were discussed, including Beth & Hedley’s new voice modulator they used in their February live show, why Beth decided to pursue a degree in scriptwriting, the scheduling of We Fix Space Junk, the community of the podcasting world, joke censorship & “reading a room”, why one should always be keen to learn and the varying interpretations of art, they then proceed to talk about Marilyn’s Diary (the WFSJ mini-series) before finishing off by discussing Beth & Hedley’s favourite characters from WFSJ and Beth’s brief involvement with the Harry Potter films!
