#193 – Worldwide Travel & Writing Kid’s Books: Absorbing Culture, Perspective & Learning With Children With Lisa Baker

Listen on

Episode notes

This week Mike speaks with Lisa Baker; author of 3 published children’s books (with more to come), who has also come back from 8 months of travelling around the world, to talk about her process and her travels!

In more detail, the conversation starts with Lisa explaining why she wrote the books and how she got into her teaching career, before delving into how Lisa wrote the books and what the books are about, how Lisa teaches children, the need for a “thirst for knowledge” and how teaching has impacted her life outside of her career. Halfway through, the conversation then shifts to how Lisa & her husband managed to travel for 8 months, how the travelling has changed their perspectives and how important it’s been for personal growth, her future in publishing and more!
