We've had some incongruous pairings of stories on this show before - but this one might take some beating. The sitcom Keeping Up Appearances launched and Esyllt Sears has a pretty comprehensive run-down of the facts behind the fun. This is coupled with a rattle through the post-Cold War reunification of Germany as seen through the eyes of Margaret Thatcher - and, as if to symbolize the coming together of two countries, this episode was actually recorded in two locations and later stitched together.
