Listen on

Episode notes

TRIGGER WARNING: This episode deals with discussions of in/fertility and/or baby loss.

--

In this episode, we are joined by ITV news anchor Andrea Byrne who shares her experience of being diagnosed with unexplained infertility and suffering multiple miscarriages. Her daughter was born naturally, defying the odds to some extent, but as with so many in/fertility stories, Andrea’s takes several twists and turns along the way.

Somaya, Natalie, and Emma discuss with Andrea about how she managed the demands of a high-profile, high-pressure job with her fertility challenges, and how the language people use while trying to be supportive can sometimes be the last thing you want to hear.
