The Violent Female Terrorists That The IRA copied! | The EXPLOSIVE Fight To Win The Vote

Listen on

Episode notes

The Suffragettes were far more deadly than you think. These courageous and brave women set about learning how to fight war like men did and then, they beat them at their own game. Often dumbed down in later years, the suffragettes militant campaign was extensive, terrifying and effective. The only thing that stopped these women from winning the vote with violent tactics was a little thing called World War One!

Today on Macabre London and our final in this four part series, we uncover the Militancy of the Suffragettes and how they used EXPLOSIVE tactics to win the vote.

This is part four in my industrial revolution / Suffragette series - episode one is here: https://youtu.be/X-skf7cLV0E
