Episode notes

England’s legendary fast bowler Katherine Sciver-Brunt is only just coming to grips with her impending retirement, and she joins Off The Bench to reflect on her astounding career in an emotional episode.

During 19 years in an England shirt, Sciver-Brunt won three World Cups, four Ashes, and took 335 wickets - the highest tally in the history of English women’s cricket.

She had to overcome challenges along the way: the steep jump from amateur to professional cricket, her personal struggles alongside being an LGBTQ role model and facing retirement.
