Episode notes

This week we're so excited to chat with writer and director Erlingur Thoroddsen about his latest film The Piper! We chat about practical effects, the genesis of the film's plotting and working with genre stalwarts Christopher Young and the late, great Julian Sands. And then we dig into Erlingur's horror history, his relationship to the genre and more before finding out why John Carpenter's In the Mouth of Madness terrified him growing up. Mary Beth and Terry each share similar Sutter Cane-related watches and we discuss creepy highways and goopy monsters.
