Reading 0 - Blackpool 3

Blackpool secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Reading in their recent League One clash. The match saw Blackpool take the lead in the 24th minute with a goal from Albie Morgan. Rob Apter doubled the lead eight minutes before halftime. Reading struggled to mount a comeback, and Ash Fletcher sealed the win for Blackpool with a goal in the 72nd minute.


Blackpool 1 - Aston Villa 1 - Matty Virtue Cup (Lost 17-18 on pens)

Blackpool faced Aston Villa Academy in the EFL Trophy Round of 32 on December 17, 2024. The match ended in a 1-1 draw after regular time, with goals from Elliot Embleton for Blackpool in the 46th minute and Jamaldeen Jimoh for Aston Villa Academy in the 78th minute. The game proceeded to a penalty shootout, which turned out to be a marathon with Aston Villa Academy eventually winning 18-17 on penalties.
