Episode notes

  • Protesters. Cops. A playoff. And a record sixth win on the season for Scottie Scheffler at the Traveler's Championship (1:42).
  • A runaway finish for journeywoman Amy Yang who claimed the KMPG Women's PGA Championship this weekend. The rest of the field couldn't keep up, and that included Nelly Korda who didn't even make the cut (5:37).
  • LIV Nashville was a surprisingly loud affair, with drones, line dancing, and crowds that followed now 2-time major champion Bryson DeChambeau (7:33).
  • The PGA TOUR now heads to Detroit for the Rocket Mortgage Classic, and we all hope that Rickie Fowler can put together another good week like last year (10:01).
  • Alex's trip last week to Horseshoe Bay Resort included a lot more than just golf, and Jacqueline Lajoie from the resort chats with Alex about how it's family friendly and just the thing for some time away (11:24).
  • In Tuned In, Michael shares reviews from watching Jerry Seinfeld's Unfrosted on Netflix, and catching the new film Thelma in theaters staring 93 year old June Squibb. Alex meanwhile couldn't get enough of Travis Kelce's cameo on the Era's Tour in London (26:43).
  • Alex's Celtics claimed they record 18th NBA Title last week, and he reveled in the parade in downtown Boston. Now attention turns to the Boston Red Sox, Michael's New York Yankees, and in another month, football (35:31).
  • As the guys #AlwaysEndWithFood, Alex shares his favorite meal from Horseshoe Bay and Chef Miguel, while Michael is preparing to enjoy the Smokey Mountains and Dollywood's famous cinnamon bread (39:33).
